Sense and Sensibility – BELLINGHAM CASTLE – Wed. 20th June

Chapterhouse Theatre Company is thrilled to announce that we will be appearing at BELLINGHAM CASTLE with our production of Sense and Sensibility on Wednesday 20th June.

Chapterhouse Theatre Company is delighted to be bringing a production of Sense and Sensibility to Bellingham Castle, a beautiful and imposing piece of Irish history originally built by Sir Henry Bellingham in the 1660s.

Chapterhouse Theatre Company is now in its 19th year of touring open-air theatre to stunning country houses, castles and heritage sites across the UK and Ireland. From the first year of performances at 30 venues with Romeo and Juliet in 2000, Chapterhouse now visits over 180 venues every year, and has become a greatly anticipated addition to thousands of theatre-goers’ calendars.

 

Blackrock Raft Race – 17th June 2018

The annual Blackrock Tidy Towns Raft Race takes place in June each year with about 30 rafts taking to the water. The event is FREE to attend but there is an entry fee for any team wishing to take the plunge but all funds go to Blackrock Tidy Towns.

The race is open to businesses, organisations, residents associations and even individuals, whether you’re from Blackrock, Dundalk, anywhere in County Louth, or indeed anywhere nationally or internationally! Darkness into Light – Saturday 12th May – 4.15 am – DKIT

A record breaking number of walkers and runners is anticipated at this year’s Darkness into Light event which takes place at DkIT on Saturday morning.

There has been a huge amount of interest in the Dundalk event which is one of many taking place around the country to raise funds for Pieta House.

The walk starts at 4.15am on Saturday and the organisers advise people to arrive early to give themselves time to part and make their way to the starting point.

Coffee Morning in aid of Louth Hospice

A coffee morning in aid of the Louth Hospice will take place in Dundalk on Monday.

The event will run from 8.30am to 11.30am at RobCo Coffee at the Northlink Retail Park.

On the day there will be delicious freshly baked scones and tray bakes, pancakes, coffee, tea and much more being served with all proceeds going towards the hospice.

 All are invited along on the day.

CAR BOOT SALE  IN AID OF Rape Crisis North East – 15th April 2018

Rape Crisis North East is inviting you to come along to their Car Boot Sale on Sunday 15th April, 2018 in McEvoy’s Car Park, Bachelor’s Walk entrance, Dundalk.

Admission for buyers is €2.00 per person, free entry for children attending with parents.  Organised by Rape Crisis North East, the event takes place from 10:00am to 4:00pm and sellers with their cars can set-up from 9:00am at a fee of €10.00 per car and €15.00 per van.

This is a great opportunity to sell on some of your used equipment and bits and pieces and perhaps purchase some other much needed items.
